Lunch, Aftercare, and After-school programs

Lunch orders

Lunch entrees can be ordered in advance through the Simply Gourmet website http://www.simplygourmetlunches.com. Every day an entrée and side item is featured for the base price of $3.65. There are also several alternate meal options that may be selected. Specialty alternate meals (e.g. vegan, gluten-free, 100% organic), side produce orders and milk are available for an additional charge.

Additionally, there will also be a variety of healthy side snack items such as fresh cut fruit, veggies & dip, organic yogurt parfaits, homemade muffins and breads available for cash purchase daily in the cafeteria. Friday is homemade cookie day!

New orders, and/or changes to existing orders, must be placed at least three days in advance of food service. The upcoming monthly menu is posted on the Simply Gourmet website by the 15th of each month.

Aftercare

Our Aftercare program is available from 3:00 - 5:30 p.m. on regular school days, and from 1-5:30 p.m. on early dismissal days. The Aftercare program is structured so that students have time for homework, outside play and unstructured activities. A healthy snack is provided.

After-School Programs – “Enrich and Grow Academy”

This year, Unity is pleased to partner with Enrich and Grow Academy to provide quality, fee-based, after-school programming to our students. Programs will be offered in three ten week sessions during the school year.

Enrich and Grow Academy is the largest provider of after-school enrichment programs to elementary and middle schools in New Jersey. Popular programs that may be offered during a cycle include: Science Wizardry, Lego Architect, Robotics, Drama/Acting, Martial Arts, Games and Puzzles, Chess Club, Sports and Games, Ceramics, The World of Magic, Cooking for Children, among others.

The programs will be taught by a combination of Unity teachers and experienced and well-trained instructors from Enrich and Grow Academy. All Enrich and Grow instructors go through extensive interviewing and background checks.

All administrative functions, including online registration, tuition collection and program development are provided by Enrich and Grow Academy.
